Privacy policy

1. Controller

INTELLIGENTIA (intelligentia.dev), Sonceboz-Sombeval, Canton of Bern, Switzerland. Privacy contact: info@woowia.com. We apply the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, for people residing in the European Union, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

2. What data we process and why

• Your account: email, username, profile photo, language and last activity date; if you sign in with Google, its account identifier. To create and maintain your account.
• Your content and activity: videos, titles, descriptions, steps, comments, likes, saves, who you follow, ratings and the second of the video at which you react or comment. To provide the service and show aggregated data, such as the “Moments” relief, which never reveals who reacted.
• Professional galleries: gallery data, the payout phone number you enter as an author, the emails of the people you grant access to and the payment records of the fees.
• Group greeting: the name each participant types and their video; and, if the creator enters it, the recipient’s email, only to send them the link on the delivery date.
• Reports: the reason, the text you write and an encrypted code of your connection to prevent abuse.
• Technical data: IP address, device and browser type and language. In visit statistics we store the truncated IP (without its last part), and the full IP is only used briefly to limit abuse.
• Emails: to send you sign-in links and service notices (galleries, greetings). We do not send advertising.

3. Legal basis

• Performance of the contract: providing the service you request (GDPR art. 6(1)(b)).
• Legitimate interest: security, abuse prevention and aggregated statistics with truncated IP (art. 6(1)(f)).
• Legal obligation: keeping payment records (art. 6(1)(c)).

4. Who we share it with

We do not sell your data and there is no third-party advertising. The following process data on our behalf, under contract and only to provide the service:

• Infomaniak Network SA (Switzerland): web hosting, database and email.
• BunnyWay d.o.o. — Bunny.net (Slovenia, EU): video storage and delivery.
• Google: only if you choose “Continue with Google”; Google processes that sign-in under its own privacy policy.

We may also disclose data to the authorities where required by law.

5. International transfers

Switzerland has an EU adequacy decision and Bunny.net processes data in the EU. If you use “Continue with Google”, Google may process data in the United States under the EU-U.S. and Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

6. What others see

Your username, photo, public videos, comments and follower count. Only you see your likes and saves. Videos from a private account are only visible to people who have its key.

7. How long we keep it

• While you have an account. When you delete it from your profile, your account, videos (also from Bunny.net), galleries, comments, reactions and greetings are erased immediately; statistics remain without data that identifies you.
• Fee payment records: the period required by accounting law (10 years in Switzerland).
• Visit statistics: 14 months. Email sign-in links: expire after 15 minutes. Reports: as long as needed to resolve them and, where applicable, to handle complaints.

8. Your rights

You can request access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability of your data by writing to info@woowia.com; you can erase it yourself with “Delete my account”. If you believe we have not handled your request properly, you can complain to the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) or to the authority in your country.

9. Security

All traffic is encrypted (HTTPS). There are no passwords: you sign in with Google or with single-use links that expire. We limit attempts to prevent abuse and restrict access to data to what is essential.

10. Minors

WOOWIA™ is not intended for children under 16. If you believe a minor has given us their data, write to info@woowia.com and we will delete it.

11. Changes

We will publish any change here with its date; if it is important, we will announce it in the app.
